  • Email address (if you subscribe, donate, or fill out a form)

  • Name (if voluntarily provided through forms, emails, or public comments)

  • Public comments or submissions made via Substack, social media, or event participation

  • Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and time of visit

    • This data is collected automatically through cookies or similar tracking technologies by Substack or other third-party tools. GLP-1 Studio does not directly control the methods or scope of this passive data collection.

  • Purchase-related information, such as order confirmation or item type, if you buy merchandise or digital products through linked third-party platforms (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or GoFundMe)

    • When you donate through GoFundMe or PayPal Giving Fund, your information is collected and processed by those platforms on behalf of the GLP-1 Collective nonprofit. GLP-1 Studio does not receive, process, or retain donor payment information from those transactions.

We do not knowingly collect:

  • Sensitive personal health or medical information

  • Financial or payment data directly

If you voluntarily share personal stories or sensitive details (such as health experiences) in a public comment, email, or submission, you do so at your own discretion and risk. While we treat such stories with care, we cannot guarantee confidentiality outside secure channels.

While we collect only limited categories of data, when combined, certain information (like email + IP) may be considered personally identifiable under certain privacy laws.

We may update the types of data we collect as our services grow. Any changes will be reflected in this Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, improve, and communicate about our work. This includes:

  • Sending newsletters, podcast updates, and advocacy alerts

  • Sharing information about GLP-1-related programs, events, and educational content

  • Responding to messages or questions you send us

  • Managing your subscription preferences and email delivery

  • Improve our content strategy, accessibility, and audience experience

Your information is not used to:

  • Make automated decisions that affect you

  • Sell, rent, or share your data with third-party advertisers

  • Deliver targeted third-party advertising on behalf of other companies

Your data is only used in connection with the direct activities of GLP-1 Studio and nonprofit-aligned communications. Email delivery and engagement data may be processed through platforms such as Substack or other newsletter/email tools, governed by their own privacy policies.

We reserve the right to update our uses of data as our services evolve, but we will never repurpose or share your information in ways that contradict this policy without notice and updated consent, where legally required.

We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide the services you request or to meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

4. Who Has Access to Your Information

Your personal information is only accessed by GLP-1 Studio and a limited group of trusted internal contributors or contractors who directly support our operations. This may include assistance with:

  • Newsletter production and email delivery

  • Podcast editing, transcription, and publishing

  • Advocacy campaign management

  • Creative, technical, or strategic support (e.g., design, analytics, or web maintenance)

All team members and contractors are expected to follow strict confidentiality and data protection practices. Access is granted on a need-to-know basis only and solely to fulfill specific roles in support of our work.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

Some information (such as your email address or engagement data) may be visible to third-party platforms we rely on to operate our services. These may include:

  • Substack – for managing email subscriptions, comment systems, and engagement tracking

  • Stripe / PayPal – for processing purchases, donations, or transactions through linked stores

  • GoFundMe / PayPal Giving Fund – if you make a direct donation to the GLP-1 Collective nonprofit

Each of these providers maintains their own privacy policies and may store limited data to perform their services. We select tools based on their security standards and ensure they only receive the minimum necessary data to perform their intended functions.

We may update or change these tools in the future as our services evolve. Any such changes will be reflected in this Privacy Policy.

5. AI Tools & Content Creation Disclosure

GLP-1 Studio uses AI-assisted tools—primarily OpenAI’s ChatGPT—to help research, draft, edit, and manage content for this platform. These tools help us work more efficiently and produce high-quality, accessible information with limited resources.

Here’s how AI may be used:

  • Drafting and editing written content for newsletters, podcast scripts, disclaimers, web copy, and educational materials

  • Organizing ideas, improving tone or structure, and generating design or communication drafts

  • Supporting brainstorming and creative development for campaigns or events

We do not share any personally identifiable information (PII)—such as subscriber names, emails, or private messages—with AI systems. Content is anonymized and generalized before use.

All AI-generated content is:

  • Used under direct human supervision

  • Reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by Amanda Bonello before publication

  • Treated as draft material, not finished work

GLP-1 Studio retains full editorial control and copyright ownership of all final published content, including that which was developed with AI assistance. OpenAI and other AI tools do not store, retain, or own any user-submitted prompts or responses used in our workflow.

While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, AI tools may occasionally generate outdated or incorrect information. If you see an error, feel free to contact us at info@glp1accessllc.com.

We use AI to support—but never replace—human experience, empathy, and advocacy.

6. Third-Party Services & Payment Processors

We rely on trusted third-party platforms to help us operate our content, communications, and fundraising. These services may collect or process limited information about you as part of their standard functionality.

These include (but may not be limited to):

  • Substack – newsletter distribution, subscriber management, email analytics

  • Stripe / PayPal – payment processing for merchandise or paid content

  • GoFundMe & PayPal Giving Fund – donation platforms for campaigns supporting the GLP-1 Collective nonprofit

  • Podcast hosting platforms – for distribution and analytics of our podcast episodes

  • Social media and form platforms – including Instagram, TikTok, or Typeform, where data may be voluntarily submitted

These services have their own privacy policies and terms of service. We encourage you to review them directly if you have concerns about how your data is handled when engaging on those platforms.

We do not control how third-party platforms collect or use your data, but we only work with services that meet high industry standards for security and privacy.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You have the right to control how your personal information is used. Here's how we support that:

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any message. This will remove you from our Substack mailing list and stop all future communication not required for a transaction or service you initiated.

  • Limiting internal access to your data to only those with a clear operational need

  • Avoiding the collection of sensitive health, financial, or government ID information directly

  • Routinely reviewing our digital tools and practices for security compliance

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no online system can guarantee 100% security. By using this platform, you acknowledge and accept that some risk may remain inherent in digital communications and storage.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you promptly and in accordance with all applicable laws and privacy regulations.

If you ever have questions or concerns about the security of your data, you can contact us at media@glp1studio.com.

9. Children’s Privacy

This platform is intended for adults age 18 and older.

If you are under 13, please do not use this platform or provide any personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us immediately at media@glp1studio.com, and we will promptly delete the data.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete such information in compliance with applicable laws.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, tools, or legal obligations.

Any updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed.
